Are your products gluten-free?

Although our chocolate bars do not contain gluten ingredients, they are manufactured in a facility that handles gluten ingredients. If you have allergy concerns, please carefully read the ingredient information on each package, including the allergens and the precautionary allergen statement. There are people with non-gluten allergies to wheat. Our primary goal is to provide accurate information to ensure consumers make informed decisions.

Are your products Kosher certified?

We are currently working to get all of our products OU Kosher Certified. In the meantime, please be sure to check the packaging and look for the OU kosher symbol as stores have not yet received all of our kosher products.

We cannot guarantee that product purchased online is Kosher certified.

Are your products suitable for vegans?

Can I change my address?

Once an order ships, we cannot make changes to an address.

Once you receive tracking information, here's what we suggest:

At first, your tracking information will show that a label has been created but you won't see an estimated delivery date. You cannot make changes during this time and the package may remain in this stage for 1-3 business days.
Once you see an estimated delivery date, select "Change My Delivery." You'll need to set up a UPS MyChoice account.

Fairtrade puts farmers first. 

Fairtrade supports farmers and workers through a unique pricing model, sets rigorous standards across the supply chain, and fosters strong producer communities through local and regional networks. 

There are over 470,000 Fairtrade cocoa farmers representing almost a quarter of all Fairtrade farmers and workers. Their lives are improved in many ways:

Decent livelihoods. Fairtrade’s living income strategy is pushing for a livelihood that covers cocoa farmers’ business costs and enough for basic human rights, such as nutritious food and education for their children. Fairtrade cocoa farmers have the buffer of the Fairtrade Minimum Price for what they grow, for when market prices drop. Farmers also receive the Fairtrade Premium, which they choose how to invest, for example, replacing old cocoa trees.

Protecting young people. Fairtrade supports certified cocoa cooperatives in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana to strengthen prevention and remediation of child labor and forced labor.

Sourcing. Fairtrade works with key industry players so that they can source large volumes of sustainably produced cocoa. This means more benefits for farmers.

We pay the Living Income Reference Price because stopping child labor starts with addressing its root cause – poverty.

Feastables is working exclusively with cocoa farmers and cooperatives that actively implement **Child Labor Monitoring and Remediation Systems (CLMRS) to help identify, address, and prevent child labor.

How should I store my chocolate?

To keep your chocolate as fresh as possible, keep it in a cool, dry place. Keeping your chocolate in the fridge or freezer is OK (let’s be real – frozen chocolate is tasty) if you are only storing it for a day or two. Try to keep it in a drawer or compartment that blocks out moisture and aim for temperatures between 59F to 69F (or 15C to 21C)!

At this time, Feastables products are not Halal certified. This is a certification we are working on obtaining, but we do not have a timeline for exactly when this will be completed.

No Feastables chocolate products contain any pork products or byproducts and no Feastables products directly contain alcohol.

Is the old formula still available?

At this time there should not be any of our old formula circulating in our official retail partners. If you do find the old formula, be sure to check the expiration date as most of that chocolate is most likely expired. It is important to note that anyone selling our old chocolate is most likely not an official retailer as well.

Isn’t it okay for kids to help out on their family farms?

Yes – of course it is. But for children, ‘helping out’ and ‘working’ are two different things.

Child labor in cocoa production refers to activities that are hazardous, exploitative, and detrimental to the physical, mental, or moral well-being of children.

At Feastables, we don’t think this is okay or should be allowed. Enough is enough. We are committed to eradicating child labor, starting with the cocoa farms that we work with.

Orders may be lost in transit if the tracking information shows no movement for 7 business days after the last update.

My order's tracking number says it was delivered but I did not receive it. What should I do?

Although many shipping carriers are effective logistics companies, mistakes and accidents happen. Sometimes, a package will be marked as delivered by the shipping carrier prematurely. If you receive the delivery email but have not received your package, here is what we suggest:

--Wait at least 48-72 hours. Waiting sucks, but sometimes the carrier marks a delivery as "delivered" prematurely and it can show up.

--Check around your building that the package was delivered to and with neighbors.

--If you still cannot locate, contact the carrier directly and file a report.

--Once reported to the carrier, please reach out to us at support@feastables.com and we can help get a new order submitted for you.

There are many hurdles facing the long-term sustainability of the cocoa sector such as: widespread poverty, deforestation, gender inequality, child labor and forced labor. 

Low incomes and volatile pricing. This prevents farmers from investing in and developing their farms, continuing the cycle of poverty. Low incomes also fuel deforestation.
Gender inequality. Women cocoa farmers in some producer countries often have limited access to resources and are discriminated against. 
Child labor has increased. According to the US Department of Labor, more than 1.5 million children aged five to 17 have been found to be working on cocoa farms in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. 
Power in the chocolate industry is highly concentrated. That means cocoa farmers have little influence on the price they are paid for what they grow. 
The climate crisis is affecting cocoa farms. Unpredictable weather patterns, along with diseases and pests, are impacting cocoa production.
Deforestation due to limited control over pricing and the need for cocoa. The industry's imbalance exacerbates environmental and economic strains for farmers.
